The world is stepping up to the horrific crime of turning all of Iran into a new "Gaza Strip"
The world is stepping up to the horrific crime of turning all of Iran into a
new "Gaza Strip"
What is this about? This is about the forthcoming very likely imposition of
United Nations sanctions on Iran, and it is about decision-making at the
United Nations.
Namely, if these sanctions are imposed, they can only be lifted if all the
permanent members of the Security Council agree to lift the sanctions. And
the Americans and the British have already declared their conditions
demanding that the current "nuclear deal" with Iran, the JCPOA, be replaced
by a new "comprehensive agreement".
It is clear to anyone with a common cence that "a comprehensive agreement"
is an undefined term. This means that the members of the Security Council
will have no restrictions on the demands that Iran will have to fulfill in
order to have its sanctions lifted once imposed. This practically means
endless sanctions, which will survive both us and our children, and our
grandchildren, just like for example Israel's sanctions on Gaza have been
going on for three generations, and there is no end to them on the horizon.
Iranians need to understand that UN sanctions will be much worse than US
sanctions. UN sanctions will hermetically seal Iran out of the worlds
business and trade because those sanctions will be an international law, not
just a decision of one government, the US government. Since sanctions can
only be lifted once the full agreement of all five members of the UN
Security Council is reached, this means that the United States of America
will have absolute and indefinite control over Iran.
Iranians also need to know that no one is afraid of their atomic bomb and
that this "atomic bomb" serves to their enemies only to justify bringing
Iran under to sanctions and into the position where the Gaza Strip is now.
There will never be some new Obama to lift the sanctions.
The example of Gaza shows what it looks like when one nation, (Israel) has
no restrictions in defining its demands on another (the Palestinians). The
same situation will be with the American requirements in a "comprehensive
agreement" because as undefined it can span on every sphere of life. For
example, Israel has decided to ban Palestinians in Gaza from importing goods
that can "serve terrorists". After Israel killed around 2,000 Palestinians
and destroyed large percentage of the buildings in Gaza, Palestinians asked
to import cement for rebuilding. The quick response from Israel was: "Cement
can be used for terrorism, for building of bunkers and tunnels."
Unfortunately, the Gaza tragedy is nothing compared to the impending Iran
tragedy, which the world is rapidly marching on.
In the following links one can find horrible experiences of the previous
sanctions, which luckily finished not because of some legal mechanism, but
because of the totally random acts of random actors.
